Bolton Abbey is a serenly beautiful place to visit. The chapel is still in use even though the rest of the abbey is in ruin. There is an attractive walk along the River Wharfe and children love to cross the stepping stones at the side of the bridge. There is a nearby cafe and good car parking and picknicing facilities.
