YORKSHIRE DALES
The
Yorkshire Dales is a vast haven of idyllic dales, rivers, mountains,
villages and villages, and in addition to the huge diversity of
karst landscape there are many ancient relics and castles,
ice age erratics, show caves, pot holes, cycling and tourist
attractions. The 3 peaks of Yorkshire are within a 15 minute
drive from our Yorkshire Dales holiday cottage,
the Pennine Way and Pennine Bridleway can be accessed from
very close to the cottage, and other famous long distance
footpaths are also within easy commuting distance. On top of
all this fine rustic scenery there is good local shopping
and eating.
